Austrian cycle-ball title for Schnetzer and Bröll in Koblach

Patrick Schnetzer and Markus Bröll of Dornbirn 1 are the 2026 Austrian cycle-ball champions. Dornbirn also took the junior and youth titles, Höchst the under-15 crown.

The Austrian cycle-ball championship finals were held on 3 October 2026 at the Mittelschule Koblach. In the top division, the 1. Liga, Dornbirn 1 with Patrick Schnetzer and Markus Bröll won all three of their games on the final day with a goal tally of 21:2, finishing the season on 54 points.

Dornbirn 2 (Pascal Fontain and Patrick Köck) placed second overall with 32 points, ahead of Sulz 2 (Philipp and Maximilian Schwendinger) on 24 and Höchst (Timo Lampert and Max Schallert) on 23. According to radball.at, Dornbirn 1 earn the World Championships spot, while Dornbirn 2 are the reserve team.

The youth categories were decided on the same day. Alexander Birkel and Mathias Maierhofer of Dornbirn 1 won the junior title after beating Höchst 1 twice, 5:3 and 6:1. Dominik Schwarzmann and Tobias Niederer (Dornbirn 1) took the youth title with three wins, and Paul Schlenker and Jakob Kaschka (Höchst 1) claimed the schoolboys' category with four wins and 19:3 goals.
