Cycle-ball Worlds in Ludwigsburg: half the season passes sold
Ludwigsburg's MHP Arena hosts the indoor cycling World Championships from 30 October to 1 November 2026, with world titles in cycle-ball and artistic cycling at stake. The event had been scheduled for Derby in Great Britain from 16 to 18 October but was called off there. German Cycling stepped in as host together with the agency 8action, led by Jens Zimmermann.
According to rad-net.de, the organisers are counting on 2,500 spectators per day, which would mean a sell-out. At a press conference on 30 September they said half of the season passes had already been bought.
Katharina Schwarz, German Cycling's vice-president for indoor cycling, said around 20 nations have confirmed. She called a home Worlds a huge source of motivation, while admitting it is unclear how other federations will cope with the event moving two weeks later.
