Cycle-ball: national titles in Belgium, Switzerland and Czechia

Three national championships are settled on Saturday 26 September, in Ghent, Oftringen and Zlin, while the German championships in Sulzbach am Main come to a close.

Saturday brings a series of national cycle-ball decisions. In Switzerland, the Nationalliga A final round starts at 13:00 in Oftringen. The schedule published by radball.at lists the Belgian first-division elite championship for 16:00 in Ghent and the Czech national final for 11:00 in Zlin.

The German elite indoor cycling championships have been under way since Friday at the Main-Spessart-Halle in Sulzbach am Main. The cycle-ball final of the 1. Bundesliga is due to start at 10:45 on Saturday. On Friday, the preliminary rounds for promotion to the top division were played in the same hall.

Two tournaments complete the programme. At the fourth International Ilm-Tal Cup in Stadtilm the elite riders begin at 14:00, with the U15 and U13 categories from 10:00. At the Fortunacup in Leipzig the regional leagues start at 15:00 and the U17 at 10:00, with the U11 following on Sunday at 11:00.

From last weekend, the outcome of the U23 European Championships in Kamenz is confirmed. Martin Konecny and Dominik Sabata took the title there, winning the final 2-1 against Max Schallert and Timo Lampert.
